Hi my friends, I'm here again and today we're going to practice some more sentences cause they are very important when you are studying English. 

Hola amigos, aquí estoy otra vez y hoy vamos a practicar algunas frases más porque son muy importantes cuando estáis estudiando Inglés.

WRITE IN ENGLISH.

1.- Ella ya ha terminado los deberes pero su hermano está todavía estudiando Francés y no ha hecho todavía la traducción de Inglés.

2.- ¿Hablas Inglés bien?  Leo y escribo pero debería hacer muchos más ejercicios de comprensión oral.

3.- Si hubieras venido, habrías visto a Mary.

4.- ¿Cuánto tiempo llevas esperándome?  Una hora.

5.- No debes hablar así a tu hermano.  Tienes que ser más amable con él.

6.- Escúchame, quiero que compres una botella de leche, algo de pan, un paquete de café y azúcar.

7.- ¿Qué hora es?  Creo que llegaré tarde al trabajo.  No me encuentro bien.

8.- A Mary le regalaron 3 camisetas y dos faldas porque era su cumpleaños. ¡Le encanta la ropa!

9.- A Peter le darán un premio la semana que viene.

10.- ¿Qué estaban haciendo los chicos cuando Lucy llegó?  Estaban jugando a las cartas y a los dardos.

AND NOW A JOKE

The Pope and a lawyer.

The Pope and a lawyer were on the elevator to heaven.
When they arrived at the gates,  dozens of angels, saints and other holy people were waiting for them.
They picked the lawyer up and carried him on their shoulders.  They all cheered.  They didn't take any notice of the Pope, who was very sad.

St. Peter saw that and went over to him and said:  "Don't feel bad.  We get popes in here all the time, it's not every day we get a lawyer!"

My dear lawyers, excuse me, it's just a joke and it's not mine!

-HEAVEN: cielo.
-GATE: puerta.
-SHOULDER: espalda.
-TO CHEER: aclamar.
-THE POPE:  el Papa.

THE PHRASES SOLUTIONS.

1.- She has already done her homework but her brother is still studying French and he hasn't done the English translation yet.

2.- Can you speak English  well?  I can read and write but I should do many more oral comprehension exercises.

3.- If you had come, you would have seen Mary.

4.- How long have you been waiting for me?  For one hour.

5.- You mustn't talk to your brother like that.  You have to be kinder to him.

6.- Listen to me, I want you to buy a bottle of milk, some bread, a packet of coffee and some sugar.

7.- What time is it?  I think I'll arrive at work late.  I don't feel fine.

8.- Mary was presented/given  three T-shirts  and two skirts because it was her birthday.  She loves clothes!

9.- Peter will be given a prize next week.

10.- What were the children doing when Lucy arrived?  They were playing cards and darts.
